A peak tv viewers of seven.6 million watched England’s dramatic extra-time win towards Spain within the Euro 2022 quarter-final on BBC One.
It’s up 3.6 million on the 4 million who tuned in for the Lionesses’ 8-0 group-stage win towards Norway.
There have been an additional 1.5 million streams throughout BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport web site and app as England superior to the semi-finals.
The second quarter-final – Germany v Austria – is on BBC One on Thursday.
