Laura Nuttall presents weather in cancer bucket list challenge

A pupil who was given 12 months to stay after being identified with mind most cancers has achieved one other of her lifelong ambitions: to current the BBC climate forecast.

Laura Nuttall, from Barrowford in Lancashire, was identified with glioblastoma multiforme after a routine eye check in 2018. She was later discovered to have eight tumours.

Ever since, 22-year-old Laura has been working her manner by means of her bucket checklist and has met Michelle Obama, commanded a Royal Navy ship, and brought Peter Kay to the pub for drinks.

She lately graduated from the College of Manchester with a politics, philosophy and economics diploma.

Now she’s visited the BBC’s studios in Salford and, with a bit assist from climate presenter Owain Wyn Evans, introduced her first forecast.
